Every member of the Ministry shall be a volunteer and shall not receive any consideration or value for any service he/she renders to the Ministry during any outreach program unless the Ministry through its board and executive committee, ratified by the council, considers otherwise for a good purpose.

Christian Medical Outreach Ministries members shall exhibit a Christ-like character in all its mission undertakings, hence it shall be every member's life style, therefore membership shall be terminated upon resignation, expulsion, death, gross misconduct, failure to renew membership or lack of commitment to God's work, suspension from the local Church where membership is held, abuse of Christian Medical Outreach Ministries name or as when deemed necessary for actions perceived as unchristian by the Christian Medical Outreach Ministries board, executive and council. Moreover, appeals shall be considered through the Board meetings.

A missionary shall at all times uphold the ideals of CMOM namely a life of prayer, personal study of the word of God, render service to all in need of an extra hand of friendship and/or relief, to exhibit a sense of urgency in everything done and to maintain the love of God as the motivation of every thought, word uttered and action performed.

All missionaries going on mission shall be required to study and be familiar with the culture and traditional practices of the area to be ventured into so as not to offend them through inadvertently going against the norms of that society e.g. politeness (always smile), kneel when talking to adults, mind wearing of trousers without outer covering like chitenge, avoid shouting or talking on top of your voice; all in all mind your behavior at all times.
