Awesome
Health Service

We provide three different service trips each year in February, June/July and October - each offering you different options. The clinics are provided in areas that do not have much medical or dental care available, or the people in the area cannot afford it. Most of the clinics are held at schools, with some being under the trees or in churches. Our trips have a Christian flavor - however, regardless of your beliefs we would love to have you join us.

Have Some Questions?

Genesis 1:1 says, "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." Later, in Genesis 2:4, it seems that a second, different story of creation begins. The idea of two differing creation accounts is a common misinterpretation of these two passages which, in fact, describe the same creation event.
It is not the purpose of this answer to present a scientific argument in the creation vs. evolution debate. The purpose of this article is to explain why, according to the Bible, the creation vs. evolution debate even exists in its present form. On the first day of creation, God said, "Let there be light" (Genesis 1:3), and light appeared as a thing separate from darkness. The phrase let there be light could be confusing to some modern English speakers who are used to using the word let in the context of permission, as in "Let me out of this box" or "Let me have the last cookie." Some might wonder whom is God speaking to.
The new creation is described in 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!" The word "therefore" refers us back to verses 14-16 where Paul tells us that all believers have died with Christ and no longer live for themselves. Our lives are no longer worldly; they are now spiritual.
Jesus said that to become a Christian we must be "born again" (John 3:3). That phrase implies that we cannot simply remodel our current lives; we must start over. Second Corinthians 5:15 and 17 explain what happens when we put our trust in Jesus as Savior and Lord: "And He died for all, so that they who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf. . . .
